Every place has its distinctive custom and when we talked about Negri Sembilan, one phrase will definitely cross our mind; Adat Perpatih. Situated at Mukim Terachi, Negri Sembilan, Ulu Bendul is a village whereby the villagers are firm believers of the values of Adat Perpatih or also known as Customary Laws. The Adat Perpatih concerns about various aspects of community life such as inheritance, leadership appointment, marriage laws and communal livings. In Adat Perpatih, there are specific rules which are outlined to punish those who breach the custom. This may sound strict but there is a rationale behind each of the established rules.

Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul is another tourist attraction here. Besides its cold and refreshing river, the place is also ideal for recreational activities such as camping and motivational camp. To those who enjoy extreme activities, they can perform activities such as jungle trekking and climbing the Mount Angsi. In order to arrive at the peak, visitors could start their climb from the amenity forest crossing the Batang Terachi River.

Women Farming and Plantation

Its reddish flesh with black little seeds looks very tempting. Wait until you savour it, the Dragon Fruit will be on your favourite fruits list as it tastes very delicious especially when is kept cold. Scientifically known as “Pitaya”, visitors will be presented with a mesmerizing view of the rows of this fruit trees along the road of Ulu Bendul heading to Kuala Pilah.
