While on the way to Kampung Sungai Gatom, you will witness the beautiful sight of the oil palm plantation. Nestled along the roadsides are the recently planted oil palm trees. The resplendent rows of oil palms covering the vaguely contoured hill slopes add more beauty to the refreshing greenery of the plantations. At the horizon, the hardly visible mountains soothe the eyes of the beholders. As the view of the oil palm plantations slowly ceases, it is replaced by the rows of rubber trees that will surely tantalize your sight. In between the rows you can see several rubber tappers going about with their daily routine of rubber tapping. Indeed, Johor is definitely blessed with the riches of its land.

In Johore, there is an organic fruit farm in the village which is single-handedly managed by farmer Puah Thian Seng. He started venturing into organic farming three years ago, toiling his own land. The interesting fact about organic farming is that it enables the plants to flourish and produce fruits all year round.

Local citizens and some as far as Singapore came flocking here to experience and gain the benefits from this natural hot spring. The main pond contains among others chemical properties such as calcium, potassium, sodium, chloride, sulphate and phosphate.
