Misai Kucing (java tea) plant is a flowery plant which is usually planted as a decoration plant. Recently, this herb is used as the agricultural activity for the people of Kampung Sungai Dua Besar. Mainly, every parts of this plant are used for medication. Its leaves can be used as medicinal herbs for treating diabetes. This is because once dried the leaves becomes diuretic and can help in eliminating excess uric acid from the human body. The stems of the Misai Kucing plant can be recycled and used as organic fertilizers.

An entrepreneur in herbs cultivation at Kampung Sungai Dua Besar is now waiting for approval from the Malaysia Organic Scheme (SOM) in order to market their herbs product. The herbs cultivation project of Kampung Sungai Dua Besar is one of the government’s efforts at stabilising agricultural sector through enhancing productivity and competitiveness in the ever competitive and globalised business world.
Surrounding Area Entrepreneurship

There is a variety of social and community activities frequently organised in order to forge better relationships among the villagers. Among the activities conducted is the making of traditional cakes such as dodol or better known as penganan among the villagers here. Once cooked, the dodol which is usually produced in large quantities will be distributed among the villagers and also given as souvenirs to visitors who come to this village.

The entrepreneurial activity in Kampung Sungai Dua Besar only involves several villagers. One of the activities conducted is the automotive workshop enterprise. This enterprise is conducted by youths who are interested in the automotive field such as Nasarudin Mohd. Sharif. With 10 years of experience, he has opened an automotive workshop in Kampung Sungai Dua Besar for the past three years.
