The remote and peaceful quaint village of Spang Loi is rich with long term plantations such as oil palm and rubber. These plantations are the key to the local settlers’ lives. The rows of oil palms and rubber trees planted at the village end have a calming effect indeed. You will be able to see a livestock farm at one corner of the village. A goat and cattle farm provides the owner with lucrative income. There is also a motorcycle workshop in this village. Thus, the villagers do not have to push a faulty motorcycle to the nearest small town. Although quite far in the interior, it is not an excuse for the villagers to neglect their efforts to uplift their own standard of living.

Farming and Plantations Entrepreneurship
Boer Goat Stock and Breeding Project are ran by Haji Shahrudin Haji Hussain under the Extra Economy Program organised by Rubber Industry and Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA). A capital fund of RM 200,000 was provided for complete pen construction, tools and goat stock for rearing.

The motorcycle workshop located in this village was started four years ago under the operation of Yuzaini Yahya, 34 years-old. Equipped with 20 years experience in motorcycle repairing, he had started the motorcycle workshop with the aim of serving the villagers so that their motorcycles can be maintained and repaired in the village.
