Perhaps the most prominent attraction in Kampung Sungai Kembung Hilir is the beautiful and pristine lake called Tasik Desa Mahkota. Previously a mine, the lake has now become a haven for fishing enthusiasts. Some residents breed freshwater fishes such as Haruan Tutu or Channa Striatus, Red Tilapia and Blue Tilapia in this lake. These fishes are bred inside cages and placed into the lake.
