Temerloh has always been famous as patin fish town. Kampung Sanggang which is located in the district of Temerloh also established caged fish farming commercially. Among the fishes reared is patin fish or its scientific name; Pangsius Sutchi which is a freshwater fish species of mecerba type that makes the river and lake as its habitat.

Kampung Sanggang is famous for its beauty and serenity, and there is even ‘homestay’ lodging or better known as Inap Desa. The units of Inap Desa are mostly built and designed with typical Malay traditional style houses and nestled in the natural beauty and lush greenery surrounding them.
