Just say Port Dickson, and surely you will be imagining its white sandy beaches and cool breeze soothing any soul relaxing on the beach. Located in a state famous for its ‘adat perpatih’, Port Dickson has become a tourist destination catering to international and local tourists. Weekends and especially school holidays are the best time to come as the beaches are alive with activities.

Chalets, motels, and hotels are provided to anyone who wishes to spend the night there. Food stalls and food outlets are available to all visitors who wish to savour local delicacies.

For those first timers, you will be fascinated by the beautiful scenery that greets you along the shoreline. The numerous chalets and hotels dotting the shores also add to the panoramic view of Port Dickson. Nature lovers will be awed by the setting sun and it's no wonder the visitors came in flocks during the weekend.

One of the activities here is sewing classes. The class is under the tutelage of Munawarah Hassan and they are monitored by Community Development Department (KEMAS). The state government has provided them with sewing machines. During festive season especially Hari Raya Aidilfitri, a lot of orders were received for baju kurung and baju Melayu. This has become an alternative source of income for the women there.
