The peaceful town of Maran is not as hectic as Kuantan or even Ipoh but certainly there are a lot of efforts taken by the government to raise the local’s economy. Furthermore, there exists a number of projects such as fish breeding in cages and cultivation of honey jackfruit pioneer project conducted in co-operation with the residents here. Apart from that, Maran economy has progressively expanded in tandem with its well-planned development.
