Unique! That is the first words that popped out after seeing the remarkable handycraft made by Hajah Halimah. The idea of inventing several products from hevea leaves is absolutely incredible. Besides these, banana leaves, recycled materials such as magazines are also used in producing beautiful handycrafts. Hajah Halimah is willing to share her talents with others and her sweet success has enabled her to promote Kampung Kubu Gajah to the outside world.

Haji Johari, a gardener and flower supplier from Kampung Kubu Gajah is also successful in expanding his own business. His flowers can be seen at most areas in Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley such as along Putrajaya roads, Persiaran Seri Perdana and Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in Shah Alam.
Entrepreneurship Tourism
Most of the villagers are keen in improving their standards of living. They willingly venture into businesses so as to increase their income such as operating workshops, laundrettes, grocery shops etc. For instance, Haji Johari Abdul Manan manages a nursery specially for landscaping purposes. Although there are no places of interests here, Kampung Kubu Gajah has its own unique way at attracting visitors. Hajah Halimah Awang’s unique handicrafts have captured the interest of outsiders as well as local villagers.
