Only a small number of villagers here are involved in livestock farming activities. Once, there was a duck farming project here. This particular type of duck, locally known as Itik Serati (Anas Moschata) was reared in this village three years ago. The two hundred ducks were placed in specially-designed coops complete with a pond. The duck eggs were sold to middlemen and thereafter processed as salted eggs and marketed around Negri Sembilan and Malacca. |
