Hari Raya celebration will not be complete without it. Lemang, a traditional delicacy made of glutinous rice and coconut milk filled into a cut of bamboo is given a new version among the residents living in the districts of Tampin and Rembau. Called Lemang Kendong, this food is best eaten with chicken or beef rendang.

Here at Kampung Sri Kendong, visitors could savour the taste of Lemang Kendong anytime as this local pride is sold everywhere around Kampung Sri Kendong and can easily be found along the roadside of this village.

Taman Rekreasi Sukabumi or Sukabumi Recreational Park offers the visitors with a calm, laid-back break from the bustling city life. Besides a beautiful man-made waterfall where the water cascades from the peak of Gunung Tampin, visitors could also unwind by bathing in a swimming pool available here..

Only a small number of villagers here are involved in livestock farming activities. Once, there was a duck farming project here. This particular type of duck, locally known as Itik Serati (Anas Moschata) was reared in this village three years ago. The two hundred ducks were placed in specially-designed coops complete with a pond. The duck eggs were sold to middlemen and thereafter processed as salted eggs and marketed around Negri Sembilan and Malacca.
