The Pahang River has been listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the longest river in Peninsula Malaysia with its length spanning 459 kilometres. It starts from the meeting point of Jelai and Tembeling Rivers in Titiwangsa Mountain Range and flowing to South China Sea. Its natural beauty and calm waters bid visitors to come. History Entrepreneurship

Kampung Sentang got its name from the Sentang tree or its scientific name, Azadirachta excelsea. Originated from the Maliaceae species, this well known local tree can be found in the central and northern part of Peninsula Malaysia. In the past, this species was quite unpopular among the foresters and the public.

The trading of Baulu, cupcakes and popia simpul (spring rolls) by the women here are under the Small and Medium Enterprises (IKS). Hasanah Hassan is one of the women entrepreneurs who ventured into this field to increase her family’s side income. She had often attended entrepreneurial courses organised by the Rubber Industry and Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA), Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) and Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) which were held in Kelantan, Terengganu and Johore to add to her experience in entrepreneurship.
