Kahang Eco Organic Paddy Plantations is one of the five organic farms recipients of the Malaysian Organic Scheme (SOM) accreditation from the Malaysian Agriculture Department. SOM is a certification programme whereby plantation owners who run their farms according to the National Organic Standard, MS 1529 is certified.

Kahang Eco Organic Paddy Plantations is a farm that combines agriculture with tourism. There is a lake complete with boats and rafts for visitors to enjoy its beautiful scenic environment. This plantation cultivates paddy and dragon fruits besides rearing ducks.

 


General Information History
Located between Kluang-Mersing Road, Kampung Sri Lukut or formerly known as Kampung Kahang Batu 28 by the locals, is one of the rural areas in Johore.

The name Kampung Kahang Batu 28 used to be the old name of Kampung Sri Lukut before it was renamed. It is called Kampung Kahang Batu 28 because of its location 28 miles from the district of Kluang.
