Bandar Pusat Jengka is a bustling town, better known with the name ‘bandar pusat’ among the local community. It is a town right in the middle of Jengka Triangle which includes Jengka 1 to Jengka 25. The Pahang state government envisages making Bandar Pusat Jengka as Bumiputera Development Town. This makes most of the businesses and enterprises in Bandar Pusat Jengka are owned by the natives; Malay. All sorts of small and medium enterprises are conducted in Bandar Pusat Jengka such as songkok (headgear) production, traditional cakes business, snacks and kerisik (fried grated coconut paste).

Youth Recreation Area

Apart from being active in sports and social activities, the youths in Bandar Pusat Jengka are also involved in arts and culture arena. The art of songkok making which requires meticulous and high degree of creativity encourages Haslina Akmar, a youth in Bandar Pusat Jengka to venture into this business. Her exclusively designed songkok is well known not only in Pahang but all over the nation. Among Rukayah Songkok Enterprise’s distinguished customer is Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

 A football field has been built for the residents of Bandar Pusat Jengka who love sports. Apart from that, there is also a Community Sports Complex in Jengka 14 that provides a number of sports facilities for the local community. Its location which is nearby to Bandar Pusat Jengka is convenient for the villagers. A children’s playground is built to encourage small children to engage in recreational activities with their family.
