  It is frightening to note that Jenderam Hilir’s name came from two horror stories. These two legends are connected with the sacred tiger and a ghost widow. That was past history but for today the people of Kampung Jenderam Hilir live peacefully amongst the hustle and bustle of Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Kajang.
General Information Socio-Economics

Located in the sub district of Dengkil in the district of Sepang is Kampung Jenderam Hilir. It will take about one and a half hour from Kuala Lumpur to reach this place. The village is located in the middle of a developing area, about 35 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur, 15 kilometres from Kajang, 15 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 10 kilometres from Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.

In the agricultural sector, the retirees are the ones who turn this activity into additional income opportunities. Gardening is a way to occupy their time after retiring from the government or private sector.
