Long ago, the residents of Kampung Haji Kamisan have to undergo a difficult life. Gravel road is the only connection between the villagers here and the nearby villages. Dusts swirl whenever lorries loaded with oil palm fruits pass through the area. When it rains, the road becomes muddy and it makes travelling difficult. In order to get clean water, the villagers have to pump underground water after digging a well.

Today, all of that are preserved in memory as the residents now receive clean tap water and electricity. The communication facilities are getting better too as most of the villagers have mobile phones. In fact, even the gravel roads have been upgraded to paved roads.

General Information JKKK
Bekok Dam is only a stone’s throw away from this village and it acts as a flood deterrent. The view from this man-made dam is breathtaking especially in the evening when the sun sets.

Prior to this, the residents faced a tough time going to and fro via the gravel road, which makes life difficult at times. This is true for the villagers especially the school children as the swirling dusts dirtied their clothes. It is even worse when the fully loaded lorries drove by.
