Kampung Bukit Nikmat is a village which has many uniqueness such as its natural beauty, the villagers’ warmth and its historical events. Visitors are welcome to come to Kampung Bukit Nikmat which is located in the district of Jerantut, Pahang if they want to experience all these. The scrumptious gulai tempoyak cooked with patin fish, reared in cages, will surely tempt your taste buds even if it is your first time. Meanwhile, the tomb of warrior Mat Kilau and the legend of Puteri Darah Putih can certainly provide you with new knowledge especially for local history buffs.

Kampung Bukit Nikmat is a village that is closely related to the history of the two tombs located nearby. The first tomb is the tomb of a renowned Malay warrior; Mat Kilau and the second one is the tomb of Puteri Darah Putih; a princess descended from the ancient Acheh monarchy. Puteri Darah Putih’s tomb can still be visited today and is located in Kampung Ketupat. The traditional art of weaving screw pine leaves mat is increasingly forgotten. This is because there are only few people who are still active in producing screw pine leaves mat. To those who would like to know the methods of making screw pine leaves mat or want to own one, Kampung Bukit Nikmat is the place to go. In this village, there are still a few elders who preserve the traditional art of weaving screw pine leaves mat.
