omen have their own contribution when it comes to the issues of village development. Their roles are no longer confined with just managing household chores; they are now contributors to the family economy as well.

The Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) through the Women Bureau build a collective effort with the mothers in generating effective plans for the village women as a whole. A range of courses from bakery course, sewing course and entrepreneur course are carried out to serve the interests of the women in Kampung Batu Sawar.

Aimed at generating pious women, many religious programmes such as Yasin recital, Al-Quran recitation, Fardhu Ain Class, religious talk and marhaban are held as well. These religious programmes are supervised by an experienced religious teacher. Furthermore, the women also participate actively in sports activities such as netball and chess competition.
