Residents love to hang-out at the village stalls

he residents in Kampung Batu Sawar are estimated to be around 460 people. As the road serves as the primary linkage here, most of the houses are constructed in rows along the roadside. However, there are also those who live scattered around the village area as well as along the riverbank of Pahang River.

The residents in this village are Malay Muslims and they are the natives of this Tok Gajah State. The traditional Malay values are still upheld by the society and neighbourhood spirit can be felt strongly here. In addition, mutual cooperation or gotong-royong, visiting each other and feasts are prevalent in this village.
