Close Relationship Creates Harmony

ampung Batu Sawar is neighboured by several villages namely Kampung Telok Sabok, Kampung Dingkir and Kampung Gempu. The relationship among the residents of Kampung Batu Sawar and those of the surrounding areas is very close as many of them have related or close friends.

The Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) of Batu Sawar realises the importance of having strong relationship not only among villagers but also the neighbouring villagers. Knowing that the strong ties could generate peace and harmony, the JKKK of Batu Sawar together with the JKKK of the surrounding villages constantly organise various activities for the people such as football match, badminton match, sepak takraw match as well as Community Sports. In addition, arts and cultural activities such as kompang (drums) competition, nasyid (religious songs) competition and gasing (top spinning) games are also organised.
