Pineapple takes about 9 months before it can be harvested. The pineapples planted by the villagers here consist of 3 kinds of pineapples; Mores, Jossa and Gandul pineapples. Gandul pineapple is among the kind of pineapple that has got its place in the market. The pineapples will be marketed to surrounding areas. Most of the pineapples planted are done individually. The harvest will be sold to middle men or sold privately along roadsides at reasonable prices.

An up and coming local company, Synergycents Sdn Bhd started its operations at the end of 2007. It is a company that processes fodder and has expanded its empire to penetrate to other states like Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Perak. Its managing director, Halimah Minin has established this business after doing a research for two years in processing corn stubs into livestock’s fodder.
